For the past six months, the Lubelskie Voivodeship in cooperation with the Institute for Local Government Development of the Lubelskie Voivodeship was implementing the project “Network of the Three Seas Regions-a tool for cooperation between local governments in Central Europe” financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland in the competition “Public Diplomacy 2022”.
The project was dedicated to the development of the local and regional component of the Three Seas Initiative, and responded to the need to promote Poland’s leading role in the Initiative and to deepen interregional cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe.
With the great help of our project partners as well as our partners of the 15 regions-Founding Members of the Network, we were able to implement the three main actions of the project:
➡️ formalize the existence of the Economic Network of the Three Seas Regions based on the Lublin Declaration signed June 29, 2021;
➡️ facilitate the communication between the partners of the Network by building digital communication platform and the English language website;
➡️ preparation of the complex report about the needs and challenges of local and regional governments of the Network.
